It wouldn't have been long until this occurred: Aston Martin has at long last uncovered a drop-top variant of its DBS Superleggera GT vehicle, brandishing the equivalent 715-drive, 664 lb.- ft. 5.2-liter twin-turbo V-12 and 211-mph top speed. It has a reexamined air bundle, and looks totally staggering.
As you'd anticipate from a vehicle like this, the DBS Superleggera Volante is fundamentally a DBS with a convertible top. Like the roadster, control gets to the street by means of a back mounted eight-speed programmed ZF transaxle. The 0-60 mph dash occurs in simply 3.6 seconds, and 0-100 goes by in simply 6.7 seconds—0.2 seconds and 0.3 seconds slower than the roadster, separately. At a top speed of 211 mph (equivalent to the car), the DBS Volante produces 390 pounds of downforce because of a recently structured Aeroblade framework molded to make up for an absence of a rooftop.
